Absolutely. You are welcome to bring beer or wine to enjoy responsibly during your trip. We want your team to relax and have a great time building camaraderie on the water. However, we do not permit hard liquor, and for safety reasons, the captain reserves the right to end the trip early if any guest becomes overly intoxicated. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the event safe and enjoyable for everyone aboard.

How far is the boat launch from Lafayette, LA?

Our primary departure point is the public boat launch at Cypremort Point State Park, a scenic and straightforward drive from the heart of Lafayette. The trip typically takes about 45 to 60 minutes, depending on your starting location and traffic. This prime launch gives us immediate access to the legendary fishing grounds of Vermilion Bay and South Marsh Island, getting your lines in the water faster so your epic adventure can begin without delay.

What should our employees or clients wear and bring?

Dress for a day of adventure on the water! We recommend lightweight, layered clothing that can be adjusted as the temperature changes. Be sure to bring polarized sunglasses, a hat or visor, and plenty of sunscreen for sun protection. You’ll also want to pack any food, snacks, and beverages you’d like for the day in a small cooler. And don’t forget a camera to capture the thrill of landing those giant bull reds!
